Moving to NYC: Packing, packing, packing

I have made the difficult and exciting decision to move to New York City. I don't have a job (yet!), but my friends Amber and Joe have graciously offered to let me stay with them until I get one and am able to be on my feet. I'm really excited about potential opportunities moving to NYC will offer me.

The hardest part will of course be leaving Louisville family, friends, and my church behind. Thankfully, it's easier than ever to keep in touch with those far away.

One of the first things I needed to worry about was organizing and packing my things. Packing is not my favorite thing, so I enlisted the help of family and friends. I'm SO grateful to everyone who helped. It's important to note that my parents have supported and helped me through all this - even though they aren't both in these photos!

One of the most "exciting" parts of moving was misplacing my car's title. Thankfully, I found it and was able to sell my car! Such a good feeling.
